The company’s affinity for large-scale greenery, long embedded in its DNA, was consciously embraced and further developed within the new design concept. In line with the guiding theme “Meet & Green”, BWM reimagined the shared spaces in the style of an open hotel lobby. By making strategic use of colour and taking a differentiated approach to flooring and ceiling design, they created a variety of distinct zones that can be flexibly adapted to different activities. This means that there is an appropriate setting for every situation, from having a quick chat at a standing table to discussing a confidential matter in a private room. Comfortable lounge areas, movable tables that can be adapted to different group sizes, varied seating heights, and integrated alcoves come together to form a fluid, interconnected shared space extending from the entrance area through the kitchenette to the conference zones.

Oak slats are a recurring design feature throughout the space, serving multiple purposes: they are used as acoustic features (e.g. on ceilings to improve sound absorption) while also helping to structure the space, discreetly conceal high-tech conference equipment, and integrate cloakroom functions. Movable planter elements, particularly framing the lounge and team areas, contribute to a calming, stress-reducing atmosphere.

The choice of warm tones and sustainable materials further enhances the natural character: solid wood, natural stone and a variety of fabrics and textures (such as bouclé and velour) shape the overall aesthetic. The colour scheme of deep teal, mustard, terracotta and earthy clay tones also reinforces this approach and lends the office spaces a warm, vibrant and sophisticated atmosphere.
